Senior Plumbing Designer

Chris has been with the firm since March 7, 2011. He attended Phoenix College before joining the MEP consulting business doing mechanical drafting in 1998. He worked his way up to designing and drafting plumbing systems. He worked for multiple MEP consulting engineering firms before joining KCE in 2011. Before joining MEP engineering community, he previously worked in construction installing mechanical/plumbing systems for over 8 years. Chris’s day to day workload includes plumbing design, plumbing drafting, preparing plumbing construction documents, plumbing calculations, responding to plumbing RFI’s, reviewing plumbing submittals, helping with project coordination, attending meetings, communicating with clients and contractors, Doing site visits to collect information for mechanical/plumbing, site observations/final punches for mechanical and plumbing, assisting Troy with whatever he needs, and putting out plumbing fires. Chris has been responsible for the plumbing project design of projects in the retail, office, educational, food service, manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, and tenant improvements.

Chris has been a resident of Phoenix since he moved from Tacoma Park, MD in 1977 with his mother and grandmother. His mother transferred here with her job from Maryland to Phoenix and we have been here ever since. He lived and grew up in Laveen, Arizona. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his son, riding quads with his son, spending time with his girlfriend, spending time with his awesome family, taking vacations, site seeing, grilling some good BBQ, hanging out with his friends, trying out new restaurants, hiking, and helping others.
