Richard has been with KCE since the initial year of operation in 1994. Richard became a licensed professional engineer in 1984 and has 44 years of total experience in the consulting engineering field. Richard has been responsible for the development, project management, design and construction management of thousands of projects over the years. He has gained experience in educational, religious, retail, office, hotel/motel/resort, governmental, healthcare and industrial projects with emphasis in the educational segment that includes vast experience in public and private K-8 schools and high schools throughout the valley and the southwest. He has developed a love for working on school projects and doesn’t envision that slowing in the foreseeable future.
Prior to entering the consulting engineering field, Richard graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1974 and was employed as a project engineer in a leading firm, located in NE Ohio, that designed and manufactured steel slab and sheet processing and handling equipment.
Richard became a resident of Arizona in 1979, leaving Warren, Ohio, with a brief stop in Milwaukee. Richard is married to his lovely wife Luci. They currently live in the Cave Creek area and have raised five children together. His interests over the years included playing hockey, watching the Browns, Indians and Buckeyes on TV, cooking Italian food on Sunday, relaxing in Alpine, Arizona, and especially, dining out with Luci.
